The Mission

In today's culture it's no secret that there is a great hunger to discover personal purpose and identity. In our social society filled with Facebook status updates and Tweets, we find significance in following our favorite celebrities' every move. As a result we are a generation filled with individuals who have dozed off watching the timelines of worldly heroes, leading into mediocre and insignificant lives.

NOW is the time for this generation to wake up, live a life of purpose, power and significance IN CHRIST! The Sleeping Giants Tour seeks to restore the identities of this generation by exposing lies of this world and revealing strength found in the truth of God's word. Every night of the tour Omega Sparx, Dae-Lee, Mike Shelton and DJT aim to EXPOSE the lies of this world, EMPOWER through the word of God that permeates our lyrics and ENCOURAGE a passion to live a life of giant proportion for the glory of God all in the language of the youth. This is the heart of The Sleeping Giants Tour and it is our hope that this experience leaves a Godly impact on everyone in attendance.

The Artists

OMEGA SPARX
An electrifying emcee hailing from the Tar Heel State, who has represented the kingdom of GOD for over a decade, both on and off the stage. With a dynamic music ministry and sterling lifestyle completely committed to displaying the grace of GOD at work, his sound is an earth shattering marriage between East Coast lyricism and Southern-styled instrumentation. He has shared the stage with some of the most formidable names in Christian urban music, including LeCrae (Reach Records), Lisa McClendon (Blu Soul Entertainment), and The Cross Movement (CMR).
DAE-LEE
"I AM A REFLECTION NOT A DISTRACTION" is Dae-Lee's mission as an artist and a Christ follower: to grow in mirroring who Christ is while not allowing his flesh to distract those looking to and for The Way. He is a seasoned performer and an Grammy nominated, Dove and Stellar award winning producer of nine years bringing his own unique style to the Hip-Hop genre. He has also been blessed to collaborate with a variety of prominent artists and sounds in Christian urban music, including Da’ T.R.U.T.H. (Xist Music), KJ-52 (BEC Recordings), and Travis Greene (Pendulum Records).
MIKE SHELTON
An accomplished emcee and energetic host. In just a few years of making music, he has crafted an infectious sound that spans the world. He has traveled across the country, from Spokane, WA, to Washington, DC and Charlotte, NC, sharing the hope of salvation with a dying world. His music truly has a cross-over appeal that reaches deep into the heart of the music industry. He has been featured on Top 40 Radio Stations numerous times with the desire of bringing the Gospel to today’s generation.
DJT
DJT has been spinning the best in Urban Gospel music for over 15 years, but after giving his life to Christ as a teenager DJT was unsure about his dreams of being a professional deejay. At the time Christian deejays were almost unheard of, but he still had a huge heart for music and sharing it with others. After years of hard work the Lord opened a door at a local radio station which allowed him to pioneer the broadcasting of Holy Hip-Hip, Rhythm n’ Praise & Gospel reggae in a time when only tradition Gospel was given airplay.
